"Classic MTV"  Launched in 1994, Classic Arts Showcase is a free cable television program designed to bring the classic arts experience to the largest audience possible by providing video clips of the arts in hopes that we may tempt you, the viewer, to go out and feast from the buffet of arts available in your community.

INFORMATION FOR BROADCASTERS, CHANNEL OPERATORS: Classic Arts Showcase is free from satellite Galaxy 15 Transponder 5. Just fill out the Application.

ANALOG SIGNAL - For Broadcasters who use our analog signal: Our analog signal will continue for many, many years, but because it's been narrowed a bit we recommend that you change your Bandwith Filter from 36 to 27 for best reception.

DIGITAL SIGNAL - For Broadcasters who have digital receivers: We've just added a digital sidecar signal to the same satellite and transponder which we use for our analog signal (Galaxy 15 - Transponder 5).

Classic Arts Showcase broadcasts 24-hours from Satellite Galaxy 15 Transponder 5, and is picked up by over 500 Channels in the United States alone. We're available free of charge to PEG channels, PBS, basic cable tiers and non-commercial broadcasters (just fill out the Application). CAS is also available to DISH Network Satellite TV subscribers - Channel 9406.
